How-Tuesday #12!

Image
This week we have a delicious cake recipe, a beautiful butterfly wall hanging, and just for fun/to be weird, how to hack a road sign. Lol. This cake is amazing, with one layer of pistachio dough and one of lemon, I think this just got moved to the top of my to-bake list. Here is the recipe. I have seen this kind of art before, usually done with hearts, and I think this a nice change-up. The super simple instructions are here. And lastly, we have all wanted to see these kinds of things in person, and I found someone who has a weird little tutorial for how to hack into these road signs. Check it out here.

Hello all, and happy How-Tuesday! This week we have a puff sleeve tutorial, a neat tote bag pattern, and a recipe for breakfast pizza. The tutorial for these are for little kids, but I think they could be easily scaled up for a nice detail on any handmade garment! Here is how.  This lovely minimalist tote bag looks great and is super easy to make! Here is the great tutorial. I am a big fan of pizza and its endless topping possibilities, but I never thought to do a breakfast one! Here is the recipe.

It is How-Tuesday again and this week I have 3 of my most favorite things: a fabric box tutorial, a flower headband, and a recipe for steamed pork buns! Oh yeah! I have a slight obsession with fabric boxes, and this one is a great variation on one of my favorite styles! Check out the tutorial here. I also have a slight obsession with big goofy fascinators (headbands), and this tutorial is simple enough for anyone to do. Here is the link. Om nom nom. Need I say more? Make them!!!

How-Tuesday #9!

Happy How-Tuesday! I have a couple funny-yet-useful ones this week, including a 3-minute brownie recipe, a camp fire trick, and an infinity dress. This little recipe for a single-serving brownie you make in a mug in the microwave is genius. Keep this on hand for choco-mergencies! Here is how you do it. I have been dreaming of a good camping trip lately and this is such a neat idea! It can be used as a stove even! Check out the how-to here. My sister and I made a no-sew version of one of these dresses, though this one seems just a bit more versatile and the tutorial is great. Here is the link.
